The deadlines we faced last year to enable publication to take place on time are a distant memory. We are now in a position to support some of those who supported us during our project.
Firstly, the Balsham Tommy Fund to enable the purchase of a 'Tommy, there but not there' image as a permanent memorial to our men lost in the two wars.
Secondly, Linton & District Historical Society, will benefit with equipment to make it easier for speakers to present their programmes. For those interested herewith a list of our speakers for 2018/19.
Tuesday 18th September sees the welcome return of John Caldicott, on the work of the Coram Foundation (Foundling Hospital) the topic will be 'Unwed Mothers - Searching for Daisy.
